A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from the 151st Air Refueling Wing, Salt Lake City, Utah, refuels a KC-10 Extender over northern Colorado January 28, 2015. Local refueling missions are meant to hone aerial refueling skills for both pilots and boom operators, and are used in support of training missions for aerial receivers. The crew of the Stratotanker offloaded thousands of pounds of fuel during the three hour mission.
