This year is the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. An Iwo Jima Memorial Ceremony will be broadcast live at 10 a.m. eastern featuring Japanese Ambassador to the United States Ambassador Kenichiro Sasae, Commandant of the Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, and the senior American survivor of the battle of Iwo Jima (RET) LtGen Lawrence Snowden.
