U.S. Marines participating in Black Sea Rotational Force 15.1 arrive at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania. 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment is fully equipped to take on the range of responsibilities of BSRF, and it started with the transfer of authority ceremony Feb. 9, 2015. U.S. Marines and sailors with 2nd Bn., 8th Marines and 2nd Bn., 2nd Marines, along with members of the Romanian Armed Forces participated the ceremony.
