Chicken and Turkey meat imported from the U.S., along with all of the products that contain it will not be on Commissary shelves in Korea anytime soon. Bird Flu outbreaks in the states prompted South Korea to ban all U.S. poultry meat to protect its own poultry industries from becoming infected. Despite this setback, the Defense Commissary Agency, or DeCA, is doing all it can to keep shelves fully stocked.
