    Pacific Missile Range Facility

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service employees at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) collect Laysan Albatross eggs from nests close to the PMRF airfield. The Navy in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Pacific Rim Conservation are attempting to establish a new Laysan albatross colony on the northern coast of Oahu from eggs collected at PMRF that were unable to be placed with foster albatross parents on Kauai.
