U.S. Marines attending Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course 1-15 conduct a Defense of the Expeditionary Airfield One (DEAF-1) exercise which involves defending a forward arming refueling point site against simulated attackers while two AH-1 Cobra aircraft land and receive fuel at Bull Attack, Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range, Calif., Sept. 29, 2014. The DEAF-1 exercise supported WTI 1-15 hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1).
