U.S. Marines with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, perform emergency egress procedures off of Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAV) and swim to shore during their Surf Qualification course at Blue Beach, Camp Pendleton, Calif., on Aug. 15, 2014.
