Yokota Air Base held a humanitarian aid and disaster relief exercise to show their Japanese allies Yokota’s ability to assist them in moving troops and supplies to areas that are prone to natural disaster. The C-130 departed Yokota Air Base and transported soldiers from the Japan Ground Self Defense Force to mount Fuji-Shizuoka Airport where they transferred to a Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The C-130 then continued on to drop a humanitarian aid and disaster relief bundle carrying 3-hundred pounds of water and rice.
