The Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa, or RAGBRAI, is an annual biking event that started on a bet in the 1970's. It has grown into a massive event with over 10,000 riders participating. The Air Force Cycling Team, made up of total force members, is the largest military team in the event that travels from the Missouri River to a town on the eastern boarder of the state.
