Part of the Advanced Warfighting Experiment, led by the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, was to test the limits of a number of technologies. Collecting good data was more important that overall success or failure of a technology because much of the technologies are prototypes. In this video the LS3 (Legged Squad Support System) slips while traversing a wet dirt road on an angle during testing on Kahuku Training Area, July 13, 2014. All this collected data will be taken back to refine and improve technologies and to help make decisions on where the Marine Corps should invest for the future. Available in high definition.
