A crowd gathers, many in period costumes and uniforms, and treks 2 miles to watch paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division and other Allied nations participate in a commemorative jump near the Normandy village of Sainte-Mere-Eglise on June 8, 2014. Following their jump, paratroopers march past a cheering crowd.
