U.S. Army soldiers and Taliban engage in a firefight after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), went off in the town of Jahel Dar Lab-e (JDL) as troops were approaching, one soldier is killed in action
(KIA) and two other soldiers wounded at National Training Center (NTC), Ft. Irwin, CA. NTC is a two week training exercise that prepares soldiers for their upcoming deployment.
