Members of the Iowa Air National Guard’s 185th Air Refueling Wing food services received top honors at the National Restaurant Associations Hotel-Motel show over the weekend. The members of the Sioux City based Air Guard were awarded the Air Guards top food services award recognizing them as the best in the nation.
The 185th Services Flight was awarded the Air Guard’s Kenneth W. Disney Award of Excellence, acknowledging them as the best dining facility in the Air National Guard.
Back in March the 185th kitchen was inspected during their training weekend, where they were evaluated by judges from the Hennessy Travelers Association. The kitchen staff was evaluated on the quality of their food service and hospitality. Available in high definition.
