U.S. Air Force personnel assigned to the 22nd Aerospace Medical Group, McConnell AFB, Kansas, deployed to Guatemala in support of the U.S. Army South-led humanitarian and military engineering exercise Beyond the Horizon Guatemala 2014. Working together airmen, Guatemalan Soldiers and medics conducted a Medical Readiness Training Exercises (MEDRETE), which services include public health and preventive medicine, medical education, dental care, optometry, adult and pediatric medicine.
