Emerald Warrior is an annual, joint exercise to train special operations, conventional and partner nation forces in combat scenarios designed to hone special operations air and ground combat skills, and is the Department of Defense's only irregular warfare exercise. TACP's from the 22 Special Tactics Squadron practice calling in Close Air Support firing solutions on a training range in Florida. These Air Force members routinely work with a variety of air frames from all services, seamlessly integrating the different platforms to target and destroy their objective.
