Coast Guard aircrews, Coast Guard Fire and Rescue personnel, Kodiak Fire Department and LifeMed Alaska personnel transfer one of three injured men from a Coast Guard helicopter to a gurney and ultimately a LifeMed Alaska jet for further transport to Anchorage April 21, 2014, in Kodiak, Alaska. The Coast Guard received a request from the master of the 587-foot cargo vessel Copacabana Sunday reporting his crewmen had been injured when the ship sustained a hit from a large wave at sea prompting the Coast Guard to launch the two MH-60 Jayhawk helicopters and an HC-130 Hercules airplane crew to respond.
