Sailors assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1 mine countermeasures team conduct Atlas Elektronik SeaFox training on an 8.5-meter rigid-hull inflatable boat in the Arabian Gulf, Feb. 10. A SeaFox is a fiber-optic guided, one-shot underwater system used for semi-autonomous disposal of ordnance found at sea. CTG-56.1 conducts mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage diving, and force protection operations throughout the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
