According to a DoD press release dated December 16, 2013 - the US Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines had high retention numbers for the first month of the 2014 fiscal year. This is affecting all branches in different ways as they work to retain, but not exceed, end strengths assigned by high-level leadership. Air Force Staff Sergeant Jaime (Sih-kor-ah) spoke with a Career Counselor at Wiesbaden Garrison to find out what that means for soldiers.
