An aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Ore., hoists a man after he became stranded on the north jetty on the Columbia River near Ilwaco, Wash., Jan. 17, 2014.

The aircrew successfully hoisted the man aboard the helicopter and transported him to Station Cape Disappointment.
