The NFL and The Kansas City Chiefs welcomed wives from Fort Riley, as well as the greater Kansas City, Missouri, area, for a health and safety clinic Dec. 3 at The University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex, Kansas City, Mo.
The clinic was highlighted by NFL commissioner Rodger Goodell and Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt. Along with Goodell and Hunt, two former NFL players’ wives and football moms, Diane Long and Chris Golic, joined the discussion and took questions from the ladies in attendance.
Former Chiefs players instructed moms on proper football techniques at the USA Football “Heads Up” clinic. Doctors from the University of Kansas Hospital teamed up to give information on concussions and hydration and answered questions from football moms.
