A rescue team helps Harwood, N.D., residents Clarence and Janice Alfontaine from their stranded truck and the flooded waters on County Road 81 Mar. 30, 2009. Responders from the Cass County Sheriff's Department, the Fish and Wildlife Service, Customs and Border Protection, Valley Water Rescue and the U.S. Coast Guard have rescued 92 people thus far, and continue to conduct welfare patrols in the flooded areas to check on residents.
