HONOLULU - Sen. Brian Schatz meets Coast Guard Station Honolulu crewmembers on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Hawaii.
The majority of the visit took place aboard a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium. During his visit, Sen. Schatz met with Rear Adm. Charles W. Ray, 14th Coast Guard District commander, and Station Honolulu crewmembers. The Coast Guardsmen gave Sen. Schatz a tour of Honolulu Harbor. At one point during the visit, Senator Schatz was given an opportunity to pilot the RB-M.
