    An approximate 30-foot piece of marine debris is spotted and documented by a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Sector Columbia River's Air Station Astoria, Ore., approximately 2.9 miles north of the Hoh River entrance, on a beach just east of Alexander Island, Wash., at approximately 2 p.m., Dec. 18, 2012.
