HOUSTON - Max Glazner, a Coast Guard World War II veteran from San Antonio, Texas, tells his story of his time in service November 9, 2011. Glazner served on the Coast Guard Cutter Orchid and on a patrol boat in New York Harbor. The latter duty was making sure the way was clear for ships bringing back soldiers from the war.
