KODIAK, Alaska - Coast Guard Team Kodiak celebrated the 70th Anniversary of military presence in Kodiak and the Centennial of Naval Aviation throughout the country during a formal ceremony at Air Station Kodiak Hangar 3 on Coast Guard Base Kodiak June 15, 2011. The ceremony highlighted the history of Naval aviation and a brief history of Coast Guard and Navy presence in Kodiak since World War II to the present.
