The 210-foot Coast Guard Cutter Resolute, which can launch and land HH-65 Dolphin helicopters is patrolling the waters near the oil rigs and their support vessels. This provides close-in search and rescue support and provides the media with a platform to observe the nucleus of the largest oil spill response in history.
