In this video feature released by the Coast Guard, Master Chief Boatswains Mate (retired) Thomas D. McAdams describes some of the surfboats he worked on during his historic career. McAdams is noted for his seamanship in small boat operations, especially motor lifeboats. His career spanned working with 36-foot, 44-foot and 52-foot motor lifeboats.
