Bay Bridge Fender Removed from Beach in Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay, Calif., (January 2, 2008)
A large portion of protective fendering system, which dislodged from the Bay Bridge when it was struck by the Cosco Busan in November, was removed from Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay on Wednesday. The piece, which measured approximately 12 feet wide, 18 feet long, and five feet high, washed ashore in Half Moon Bay in mid December.
