Minneapolis, MN - U.S. Coast Guard crews from Ninth District's Sector Lake Michigan and Eighth District's Sector Upper Mississippi River respond to the I-35W bridge collapse Aug. 2. Coast Guard units enforced a security zone on the Mississippi River in an effort to keep the river accessible to emergency and recovery vessels, and dive platforms.
