SAN FRANCISCO (August 16, 2007) Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, and Rear Admiral Craig Bone, Commanding Officer of the Eleventh Coast Guard District, visit with the Commanding Officer and crew of the CGC Pike in San Francisco. Speaker Pelosi, who is the sponsor of the Pike, later presented a posthumous Gold Lifesaving Medal at Sector San Francisco to the family of Marlin Coats who died last summer after rescuing two boys from Ocean Beach in San Francisco.
