NEW LONDON, Conn. - Coast Guard Ensign Eric Nielsen, a 2007 Coast Guard Academy graduate, operates an underwater remote operated vehicle that he and several Academy classmates designed and built as part of their senior capstone design project in Mechanical Engineering.
