    131st Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    The Alabama Army National Guards 31st Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Brigade hosted a change of command cermony at Ft. McClellan on Nov.2 between outgoing commader BG David R. Brown and incoming commander Col. Lee M. Ellis. The 31st CBRN Brigade is the only major chemical organization within the state of Alabama and traces it's lineage back to the Civil War. Currently the unit is part of the command and control element for a national response team, that would respond in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incident in the United States.
