A USAF E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWAC) out of Joint
Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska takes off in support of Exercise
Vigilant Eagle (VE) 13. The exercise is the 5th in the series of cooperative
exercises that provide an opportunity for Russia, Canada, and the United
States military personnel to enhance their international partnership and to
cooperatively detect, track, identify, and follow a hijacked aircraft as it
proceeds across international boundaries. Also available in high definition
