Coalition troops in Uruzgan tested their altitude fitness and endurance in the Sand to Sand Soldier On charity fun run on August 17. Close to 170 personnel ran a seven or 14km course around the Multi National Base – Tarin Kot airfield which is nearly 1400 metres above sea level.
Soldier On is creating opportunities for wounded soldiers to participate in a range of challenging cultural and adventurous activities that will inspire themselves and their communities.
