On August 8th the 139AES conducted a Field Training Exercise (FTX). Patient movement occurred between Alplaus, N.Y. Firehouse and Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia, N.Y. This exercise further integrated partnership between the Dept of Health and Human Services (HSS), the Dept of Homeland Security (HS), the Dept of Defense (DoD), and the Dept of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the instrumental role of Aeromediacal Evacuation in the national emergency response and national defense framework.
