On July 14, 2013 Air Force Major General Daryl Bohac assumed command of the Nebraska National Guard as the 33rd Adjutant General, replacing Army Major General Judd H. Lyons who accepted a position in Virginia as Deputy Director of the Army National Guard. Bohac, with 35 years of military experience, will command the more than 4600 Air and Army personnel that constitute the NE National Guard.
