Chief of Navy Chaplains rear Adm. Mark Tidd arrived aboard USS Nimitz. During his visit he met with leaders and conducted training to strike group chaplains.
"We provide an opportunity to offer some counseling and in particular we provide confidential counseling. What you say to a chaplain stays with you and the chaplain."
Before departing he led the ship in the traditional evening prayer.
"What I see is folks working hard in a tough environment, a challenging environment to accomplish a mission and the Nimitz team is doing a great job at it."
