U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel addresses the first plenary session at the International Institute for Strategic Studies Asia Security Summit, also known as the Shangri-La Dialogue. This is the 12th annual conference, which is held in Singapore. Secretary Hagel spoke about the U.S. approach to regional security in the Asia-Pacific. He was one of the co-founders of the SLD while serving as a U.S. Senator in 2002. Available in high definition.
