Staff Sgt. Albert Garcia, runner-up in the California Army National Guard's Best Warrior for their top NCO, talks about his feelings going into the 2013 Region VII Best Warrior Competition held at Fort Carson, Colol. He was chosen to represent California when the winner, Staff Sgt. Jared Negherbon had to drop out due to an upcoming deployment. Garcia goes into what was challenging about the competition, how he prepared for it, and what he got out of it. Interview was conducted immediately after the final event, an appearance in front of a board of Sergeants Major, and he talks about how he feels he did. Garcia talks about how his sponsor and family helped him get through the event and be confident in his performance
