MH-60S Seahawks transport cargo from the USNS Big Horn (T-AO-198) to the USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), at sea, March 14, 2013. The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit is deploying to the 5th and 6th Fleets area of operations. The 26th MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
