U.S. Air Force medical personnel from the 18th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (AES), Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan train loading patients and providing in-flight medical care inside a C-130 Hercules aircraft during Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) 13-04, in Alexandria, La., Feb. 21, 2013. JRTC provides Aeromedical Evacuation forces with a premier training platform in a simulated combat environment. Joint training with the U.S. Army, Air Force and a Navy patient records specialist (on this rotation), enables participants the opportunity to experience the joint nature of a team in a large mission rehearsal exercise that encompasses the full spectrum of operations to mid intensity conflict.
