Corpsmen and other medical personnel with 3rd Medical Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted a notional casualty evacuation operation during Exercise Cobra Gold 2013. The CASEVAC simulated injured personnel with varying degrees of injuries needing immediate medical attention and evacuation from the location.
