Mr. Bob Kerr, Cultural Affairs Officer, shows local Soldiers and civilians the importance of the Babylonian culture. The group visits historic sites in Babylon, 50 miles south of Baghdad. At one stop, a helicopter lifts a stone barrier to help clear an ancient road once used by Alexander the Great. Soundbites from Mr. Kerr at different sites, followed by an interview in which he talks about the history of the city, what the military has done to help, and how they are still preserving its rich culture. Video from American Forces Network Iraq. Also see "Babylon Culture Protected package" in this section.
