USS Klakring and Helicopter Squadron 42 Detachment 2 Sailors returned to Naval Station Mayport December 1st. The six month deployment to the Caribbean Sea and eastern coast of South America was Klakring's final deployment before her scheduled decommissioning in march of 2013. The ship's commanding officer said he was very pleased with the efforts of the Sailors during this final deployment. From the Defense Media Activity, I'm Petty Officer Shannon Burns.
