Integrating with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's Battalion Landing Team, soldiers with Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force conducted an amphibious raid exercise alongside their Company F., BLT 2/1 counterparts here in Guam. The training evolution was part of the JGSDF's integration period with the MEU during the Marines' Fall Patrol deployment throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Following these integration events, distinguished members of both nations' militaries participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the South Pacific Memorial Peace Park, Sept. 23. LtGen. Glueck, commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force, speaks about the JGSDF/31st MEU integration as well as the future of the MV-22 Osprey in Okinawa. Also available in high definition
