In the 1960's the Douglas A-4M "Skyhawk" close air support aircraft began its service with the United States Marine Corps.
After its retirement in the 1990's, the last A-4M to be manufactured has been restored and is now on display at the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif.
This is the story of the aircraft and its pilots.
