Retired Lt. Col. John Klatt, an aerobatics pilot for the Air National Guard, recently performed at the 139th Airlift Wing’s Sound of Speed Air Show and Open House in St. Joseph, Missouri. Klatt served for more than 20 years as a pilot in the Air National Guard and now uses his unique blend of precision, power and performance while flying to entertain spectators across the nation, enticing some to join the service where he made his career. Story by Air Force Staff Sgt. Michael Crane.
