The 1st Theater Support Command Best Warrior Competition, hosted by the 364th ESC wrapped up on Friday, April 27 with an awards ceremony recognizing competitors for their efforts and to award the non-commissioned officer and soldier an Army Commendation medal and wish them luck in the Army Central Command competition being held in Kuwait later this summer. Soldiers from seven different commands across the Army Central Command (ARCENT) start the first day of the 2012 Army Best Warrior Competition held the last week in April at Camp Buehring, Kuwait.

Jeremy Jackson, from Albuquerque, N.M., an infantryman with A Co., 1/200th Infantry Regiment, from Rio Rancho, N.M., assigned to Task Force Sinai in Egypt, earned the title of Best Warrior in the non-commissioned officer category. He talks about the experience, his willingness to compete at the next level, and getting home to see his daughter born. Jackson has been in the Army for 7 years and is on his 3rd deployment since 2007.
