This year part of Exercise Balikatan is being held on the island of Palawan in the Philippines where Philippine and U.S. military are working side by side, conducting a number of engineering civic assistance projects throughout the island of Palawan.
A family at Buena Vista, Palawan, has recently asked Navy SEABEE CE3 Michael Caballero to become the godfather of their 7 month baby boy, RJ. On his downtime from the Engineering Civic Assistance project, Michael spends much of his time getting to know the family.
