Every year the Las Vegas Motor Speedway comes to life as thousands of avid NASCAR enthusiasts come from around the world to watch the races. The bleachers, packed with patriotic fans, provide the perfect backdrop for this season's mass enlistment ceremony. Over twenty enlistees participated as Brigadier General Jerry Martinez led the group of newcomers in the oath of enlistment.

They weren't nervous at all. They did a really great job. Loud and proud, we're really proud of them. And the crowd, of course, cheered them as they went up the steps. Those are the newest members of the United States Air Force and they did a fantastic job.
Many families showed up to cheer for their future Airman as they took part in a ceremony that will undoubtedly change their lives forever.

We give them the best training in the world, we give them the best equipment in the world, and we teach them some really really good things. And you know if you take those tools that the Air Force gives you, the rest is all attitude. You can just go out and make the best of it.
